Terms of Service

Kikuyo provides a lightweight feedback board platform that allows you to collect and manage user feedback. The service includes:

• Feedback board hosting and management
• Multi-project support
• Moderation and admin features
• Organization-based subscriptions and billing

• You must provide accurate account information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be 13 years or older to use Kikuyo
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Your account may belong to, or administer, one or more organizations within the service
• Organization administrators are responsible for actions they take on behalf of their organizations, including billing changes

Free Tier: Limited to 1 project

Pro Subscription: $8 per month for an organization, with unlimited projects. Monthly or annual billing options may be offered at checkout.

• Subscriptions are purchased for an organization, not an individual account
• Organization administrators may start, manage, or change billing
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually unless canceled before the next billing date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds or prorated refunds are provided
• Pricing subject to change with 30 days notice

You agree NOT to use Kikuyo to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Distribute malware or harmful content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Send spam or engage in phishing
• Overwhelm or abuse the service infrastructure
• Bypass usage limits through multiple accounts
• Post unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content
• Submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information to public boards without authorization

Violations may result in immediate account termination.

• You retain ownership of your feedback boards and data
• You grant us a limited license to host, display, process, and operate your content as part of the service
• You are solely responsible for your content and its consequences
• Feedback posts and comments submitted to public boards may be visible to the public
• We are not responsible for comments, feedback, or other content posted by users, and we do not endorse user submissions
• We may remove content that violates these terms
• Ensure you have rights to all data you collect

The Kikuyo service, including all software, design, and content (excluding your content), remains our exclusive property. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Remove any proprietary notices

Kikuyo relies on third-party providers, including Firebase and supported auth providers for authentication, Stripe for billing, and PostHog for analytics.

Those providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies, and parts of the service may depend on their continued availability.

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uptime
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We may modify or discontinue features with notice
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations

• You may terminate your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• We may retain certain data as required by law
• Termination does not relieve payment obligations
